حَدَّثَنَا الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ التُّسْتَرِيُّ، ثنا عُثْمَانُ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ، ثنا يَحْيَى بْنُ يَعْلَى بْنِ الْحَارِثِ الْمُحَارِبِيُّ، حَدَّثَنِي أَبِي، عَنْ غَيْلَانَ بْنِ جَامِعٍ، عَنْ قَيْسِ بْنِ مُسْلِمٍ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ أَبِي لَيْلَى، أَنَّ أَبَاهُ أَخْبَرَهُ: أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ «قَسَّمَ غَنَمًا، فَجَعَلَ لِكُلِّ عَشَرَةٍ مِنْ أَصْحَابِهِ شَاةً، وَأَنَّهَا كَانَتْ نُهْبَةً» قَالَ: «وَأَمَرَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَوْمَئِذٍ بِالْقُدُورِ فَأُكْفِئَتْ، وَهُوَ يَوْمُ خَيْبَرَ»
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Layla (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) distributed goats, assigning one goat to every ten of his Companions, and these goats were plunder. The narrator says: And on that day the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) ordered the cooking pots to be overturned, and they were overturned; that was the day of Khaybar.
