حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَمْرِو بْنِ خَالِدٍ الْحَرَّانِيُّ، ثنا أَبِي، ثنا ابْنُ لَهِيعَةَ، عَنْ أَبِي الْأَسْوَدِ، عَنْ عُرْوَةَ: «فِي تَسْمِيَةِ مَنْ شَهِدَ الْعَقَبَةَ مِنَ الْأَنْصَارِ، ثُمَّ الْأَوْسِ، ثُمَّ مِنْ بَنِي عَبْدِ الْأَشْهَلِ، سَلَمَةُ بْنُ سَلَامَةَ بْنِ وَقْشٍ، وَقَدْ شَهِدَ بَدْرًا»
Urwah narrated: Among the names of those of the Ansar who were present at al-Aqabah, then from the Aws, then from Banu Abd al-Ashhal, is Salamah bin Salamah bin Waqsh (may Allah be pleased with him), and he also took part in Badr.
حَدَّثَنَا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ هَارُونَ بْنِ سُلَيْمَانَ الْأَصْبَهَانِيُّ، ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ الْمُسَيَّبِيُّ، ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ فُلَيْحٍ، عَنْ مُوسَى بْنِ عُقْبَةَ، عَنِ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ «فِي تَسْمِيَةِ مَنْ شَهِدَ الْعَقَبَةَ مِنَ الْأَنْصَارِ، ثُمَّ مِنْ بَنِي عَبْدِ الْأَشْهَلِ سَلَمَةُ بْنُ سَلَامَةَ بْنِ وَقْشٍ»
Ibn Shihab al-Zuhri narrated: Among the names of those of the Ansar who were present at al-Aqabah, then from Banu Abd al-Ashhal, is Salamah bin Salamah bin Waqsh (may Allah be pleased with him).
حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحِيمِ الْبَرْقِيُّ، ثنا عَبْدُ الْمَلِكِ بْنُ هِشَامٍ السَّدُوسِيُّ، ثنا زِيَادُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ إِسْحَاقَ «فِي تَسْمِيَةِ مَنْ شَهِدَ بَدْرًا مِنَ الْأَنْصَارِ، ثُمَّ مِنَ الْأَوْسِ، ثُمَّ مِنْ بَنِي عَبْدِ الْأَشْهَلِ سَلَمَةُ بْنُ سَلَامَةَ بْنِ وَقْشِ بْنِ زُغْبَةَ بْنِ زَعُورَاءَ بْنِ عَبْدِ الْأَشْهَلِ بْنِ جُشَمِ بْنِ الْحَارِثِ بْنِ الْخَزْرَجِ بْنِ عَمْرِو بْنِ مَالِكِ بْنِ الْأَوْسِ»
Muhammad bin Ishaq narrated: Among the names of those of the Ansar who took part in Badr, then from the Aws, then from Banu Abd al-Ashhal, is Salamah bin Salamah bin Waqsh bin Zughbah bin Za'ura' bin Abd al-Ashhal bin Jusham bin al-Harith bin al-Khazraj bin Amr bin Malik bin al-Aws (may Allah be pleased with him).
حَدَّثَنَا مُطَّلِبُ بْنُ شُعَيْبٍ الْأَزْدِيُّ، ثنا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ صَالِحٍ، حَدَّثَنِي اللَّيْثُ، حَدَّثَنِي زَيْدُ بْنُ جَبِيرَةَ بْنِ مَحْمُودِ بْنِ أَبِي جَبِيرَةَ الْأَنْصَارِيُّ، مِنْ بَنِي الْأَشْهَلِ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ جَبِيرَةَ بْنِ مَحْمُودٍ، عَنْ سَلَمَةَ بْنِ سَلَامَةَ بْنِ وَقْشٍ صَاحِبِ رَسُولِ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ , أَنَّهُمَا دَخَلَا وَلِيمَةً وَسَلَمَةُ عَلَى وُضُوءٍ، فَأَكَلُوا، ثُمَّ خَرَجُوا، فَتَوَضَّأَ سَلَمَةُ، فَقَالَ لَهُ جَبِيرَةُ: أَلَمْ تَكُنْ عَلَى وُضُوءٍ؟ قَالَ: بَلَى، وَلَكِنِّي رَأَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ , وَخَرَجْنَا مِنْ دَعْوَةٍ دَعَوْنَا لَهَا , وَرَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عَلَى وُضُوءٍ، فَأَكَلَ , ثُمَّ تَوَضَّأَ، فَقُلْتُ لَهُ: أَلَمْ تَكُنْ عَلَى وُضُوءٍ يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ؟ قَالَ: «بَلَى، وَلَكِنَّ الْأَمْرَ يَحْدُثُ، وَهَذَا مِمَّا قَدْ حَدَثَ»
Jabirah bin Mahmud (may Allah have mercy on him) narrated that he and Sayyiduna Salamah bin Salamah bin Waqsh (may Allah be pleased with him), the Companion of the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him), went to a wedding feast, and Sayyiduna Salamah (may Allah be pleased with him) was in a state of ablution. They all ate, then went out, and Sayyiduna Salamah (may Allah be pleased with him) performed ablution. Jabirah said to him: Were you not in a state of ablution? He said: Certainly, but I saw the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him): we came out from an invitation to which we had been invited, and the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) was in a state of ablution; he (peace and blessings be upon him) ate and then performed ablution again. So I said: O Messenger of Allah, were you not in a state of ablution? He (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Certainly, but something new happens, and this is one of the things that have newly happened."
حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحِيمِ الْبَرْقِيُّ، ثنا عَبْدُ الْمَلِكِ بْنُ هِشَامٍ، ثنا زِيَادُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ إِسْحَاقَ، ح وَحَدَّثَنَا سَهْلُ بْنُ مُوسَى شِيرَانُ الرَّامَهُرْمُزِيُّ، ثنا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ عَبْدَةَ الضَّبِّيُّ، ثنا وَهْبُ بْنُ جَرِيرِ بْنِ حَازِمٍ، ثنا أَبِي، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ إِسْحَاقَ، أنا صَالِحُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ عَوْفٍ، عَنْ مَحْمُودِ بْنِ لَبِيدٍ، عَنْ سَلَمَةَ بْنِ سَلَامَةَ بْنِ وَقْشٍ، قَالَ: كَانَ بَيْنَ أَبْيَاتِنَا رَجُلٌ يَهُودِيٌّ، وَذَكَرَ الْحَدِيثَ
Sayyiduna Salamah bin Salamah bin Waqsh (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated: There was a Jewish man living among our houses. Then the narrator narrated the rest of the hadith.
