حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ رَاشِدٍ الْأَصْبَهَانِيُّ، ثنا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ خَالِدٍ الْمِصِّيصِيُّ، ثنا حَجَّاجُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ جُرَيْجٍ، عَنْ عَطَاءِ بْنِ أَبِي رَبَاحٍ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ قَالَ: حَدَّثَنِي سَلْمَانُ بْنُ الْإِسْلَامِ، قَالَ: قَالَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: " مَنْ قَالَ: اللهُمَّ إِنِّي أُشْهِدُكَ، وَأُشْهِدُ مَلَائِكَتَكَ، وَحَمَلَةَ الْعَرْشِ، وَالسَّمَاوَاتِ وَمَنْ فِيهِنَّ، وَالْأَرَضِينَ وَمَنْ فِيهِنَّ، وَأُشْهِدُ جَمِيعَ خَلَقِكَ، بِأَنَّكَ اللهُ لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا أَنْتَ، وَأُكَفِّرُ مَنْ أَبَى ذَلِكَ مِنَ الْأَوَّلِينَ وَالْآخِرِينَ، وَأَشْهَدُ أَنَّ مُحَمَّدًا عَبْدُكَ وَرَسُولُكَ، مَنْ قَالَهَا مَرَّةً عُتِقَ ثُلُثُهُ مِنَ النَّارِ، وَمَنْ قَالَهَا مَرَّتَيْنِ عُتِقَ ثُلُثَاهُ مِنَ النَّارِ، وَمَنْ قَالَهَا ثَلَاثًا عُتِقَ مِنَ النَّارِ "
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Salman bin al-Islam (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Whoever says: 'O Allah! I call You to witness, and I call to witness Your angels, the bearers of the Throne, the heavens and whatever is in them, and the earths and whatever is in them, and I call all Your creation to witness, that You are Allah, there is no true god except You; and I declare to be a disbeliever whoever rejects this, from the first and the last; and I bear witness that Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) is Your servant and Your Messenger.' Whoever says this once, a third of him will be freed from the Fire; whoever says it twice, two thirds of him will be freed from the Fire; and whoever says it three times, he will be freed entirely from the Fire."
حَدَّثَنَا زَكَرِيَّا بْنُ يَحْيَى السَّاجِيُّ، ثنا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ يَحْيَى الصُّوفِيُّ، ثنا زَيْدُ بْنُ الْحُبَابِ، حَدَّثَنِي حُمَيْدٌ، مَوْلَى آلِ عَلْقَمَةَ الْمَكِّيِّ، عَنْ عَطَاءِ بْنِ أَبِي رَبَاحٍ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، عَنْ سَلْمَانَ رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُ قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: " مَنْ قَالَ: اللهُمَّ إِنِّي أُشْهِدُكَ، وَأُشْهِدُ مَلَائِكَتَكَ، وَحَمَلَةَ عَرْشِكَ، وَأُشْهِدُ مَنْ فِي السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضِ أَنَّكَ أَنْتَ اللهُ لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا أَنْتَ، وَحْدَكَ لَا شَرِيكَ لَكَ، وَأَشْهَدُ أَنَّ مُحَمَّدًا عَبْدُكَ وَرَسُولُكَ، مَنْ قَالَهَا مَرَّةً أَعْتَقَ اللهُ ثُلُثَهُ مِنَ النَّارِ، وَمَنْ قَالَهَا مَرَّتَيْنِ أَعْتَقَ اللهُ ثُلُثَيْهِ مِنَ النَّارِ، وَمَنْ قَالَهَا ثَلَاثًا أَعْتَقَ كُلَّهُ مِنَ النَّارِ "
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Salman (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Whoever says: 'O Allah! I call You to witness, and Your angels and the bearers of Your Throne, and I call to witness whatever is in the heavens and the earth, that You are Allah, there is no true god except You, You alone, You have no partner; and I bear witness that Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) is Your servant and Your Messenger.' Whoever says this once, Allah will free a third of him from the Fire; whoever says it twice, Allah will free two thirds of him from the Fire; and whoever says it three times, Allah will free him entirely from the Fire."
