حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ، ثنا عَارِمٌ، ثنا حَمَّادُ بْنُ زَيْدٍ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ إِسْحَاقَ، عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ عُبَيْدِ بْنِ السَّبَّاقِ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ سَهْلِ بْنِ حُنَيْفٍ أَنَّهُ سَأَلَ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عَنِ الْمَذْيِ، فَقَالَ: «يَكْفِيكَ مِنْهُ الْوُضُوءُ» قَالَ: فَكَيْفَ أَصْنَعُ بِمَا أَصَابَ ثَوْبِي؟ قَالَ: «تَأْخُذُ كَفًّا مِنْ مَاءٍ، فَتَنْضَحُ مِنْ ثَوْبِكَ حَيْثُ تَرَى أَنَّهُ أَصَابَهُ»
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Sahl bin Hunayf (may Allah be pleased with him) that he asked the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) about madhi (pre-seminal fluid), and he (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Ablution alone is sufficient for you for it." He said: What should I do if it gets on my garment? He (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Take a palmful of water and sprinkle it on your garment where you think it has touched."
حَدَّثَنَا عُبَيْدُ بْنُ غَنَّامٍ، ثنا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ، ثنا إِسْمَاعِيلُ ابْنُ عُلَيَّةَ وَيَزِيدُ بْنُ هَارُونَ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ إِسْحَاقَ، حَدَّثَنِي سَعِيدُ بْنُ عُبَيْدٍ السَّبَّاقُ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ سَهْلِ بْنِ حُنَيْفٍ قَالَ: كُنْتُ أَلْقَى مِنَ الْمَذْيِ شِدَّةً، وَكُنْتُ كَثِيرًا أَغْتَسِلُ مِنْهُ، فَسَأَلْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، فَقَالَ: «إِنَّمَا يَكْفِيكَ مِنْ ذَلِكَ الْوُضُوءَ» ، زَادَ يَزِيدُ قُلْتُ: يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ، كَيْفَ بِمَا يُصِيبُ ثَوْبِي مِنْهُ، فَقَالَ: «إِنَّمَا يَكْفِيكَ كَفٌّ مِنْ مَاءٍ، تَنْضَحُ بِهِ ثَوْبَكَ، حَيْثُ تَرَاهُ أَصَابَ» ،
Sayyiduna Sahl bin Hunayf (may Allah be pleased with him) says: I used to suffer great difficulty because of madhi (pre-seminal fluid), and I used to take a ritual bath (ghusl) often because of it. So I asked the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him), and he (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Ablution alone is sufficient for you for it." Yazid added: I said: O Messenger of Allah! What if it gets on my garment? He (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "A palmful of water is enough for you, which you sprinkle on your garment where you think it has touched."
حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو حُصَيْنٍ الْقَاضِي، ثنا يَحْيَى الْحِمَّانِيُّ، ثنا ابْنُ الْمُبَارَكِ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ إِسْحَاقَ، عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ عُبَيْدِ بْنِ السَّبَّاقِ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ سَهْلِ بْنِ حُنَيْفٍ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ مِثْلَهُ
A similar hadith is also narrated from Sayyiduna Sahl bin Hunayf (may Allah be pleased with him).
