It is narrated from Sayyiduna Zayd bin Thabit (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "May Allah keep radiant the person who heard something from us, memorised it and then conveyed it onward, for often the bearer of understanding is not himself one who understands."

It is narrated from Sayyiduna Zayd bin Thabit (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Whoever's intention is the Hereafter, Allah gathers together all his affairs, places his self-sufficiency in his heart, and the world comes to him despite itself. And whoever's intention is this world, Allah scatters his affairs, places his poverty before his eyes, and he receives of this world only what Allah has written for him."
And Sayyiduna Zayd bin Thabit (may Allah be pleased with him) was asked about the middle prayer (al-salat al-wusta), and he said: "It is the Asr prayer."
