ذكوان بن عبد قيس الأنصاري بدري استشهد يوم أحد
Dhakwan bin Abd Qays al-Ansari (may Allah be pleased with him), a veteran of Badr, martyred on the Day of Uhud

حَدَّثَنَا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ هَارُونَ بْنِ سُلَيْمَانَ الْأَصْبَهَانِيُّ، ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ الْمُسَيَّبِيُّ، ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ فُلَيْحٍ، عَنْ مُوسَى بْنِ عُقْبَةَ، عَنِ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ: «فِي تَسْمِيَةِ مَنْ شَهِدَ الْعَقَبَةَ مِنَ الْأَنْصَارِ، ثُمَّ مِنْ بَنِي زُرَيْقٍ ذَكْوَانُ بْنُ عَبْدِ قَيْسِ بْنِ خَلْدَةَ»
Ibn Shihab relates: Among those of the Ansar, and then of Banu Zurayq, who took part in (the pledge of) al-Aqabah was Dhakwan bin Abd Qays bin Khaldah.
حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَمْرِو بْنِ خَالِدٍ الْحَرَّانِيُّ، حَدَّثَنِي أَبِي، ثنا ابْنُ لَهِيعَةَ، عَنْ أَبِي الْأَسْوَدِ، عَنْ عُرْوَةَ: «فِي تَسْمِيَةِ مَنْ شَهِدَ الْعَقَبَةَ مِنَ الْأَنْصَارِ ثُمَّ مِنْ، بَنِي زُرَيْقٍ ذَكْوَانُ بْنُ عَبْدِ قَيْسِ بْنِ خَلْدَةَ، وَكَانَ خَرَجَ مِنَ الْمَدِينَةِ إِلَى مَكَّةَ مُهَاجِرًا إِلَى اللهِ وَقَدْ شَهِدَ بَدْرًا»
Urwah relates: Among those of the Ansar, and then of Banu Zurayq, who took part in the pledge of al-Aqabah was Dhakwan bin Abd Qays bin Khaldah. He had set out from Madinah to Makkah as an emigrant for the sake of Allah, and he also took part in Badr.
حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَمْرِو بْنِ خَالِدٍ الْحَرَّانِيُّ، حَدَّثَنِي أَبِي، ثنا ابْنُ لَهِيعَةَ، عَنْ أَبِي الْأَسْوَدِ، عَنْ عُرْوَةَ: «فِي تَسْمِيَةِ مَنِ اسْتُشْهِدَ مَعَ رَسُولِ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَوْمَ أُحُدٍ مِنَ الْأَنْصَارِ، ثُمَّ مِنْ بَنِي زُرَيْقٍ ذَكْوَانُ بْنُ عَبْدِ قَيْسٍ»
Urwah said: Among the Ansar, then among Banu Zurayq, of those who were martyred with the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) on the day of Uhud, was Dhakwan bin Abd Qays.
