حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ سَلَمٍ الرَّازِيُّ، ثنا سَهْلُ بْنُ عُثْمَانَ، ثنا عُقْبَةُ بْنُ خَالِدٍ، عَنْ هِشَامِ بْنِ عُرْوَةَ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ أَبِي أَيُّوبَ، أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «كَانَ يَقْرَأُ فِي الرَّكْعَتَيْنِ مِنَ الْمَغْرِبِ بِسُورَةِ الْأَنْفَالِ»
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Ayyub (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) used to recite Surah al-Anfal in the two rak'ahs of Maghrib.
حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو حُصَيْنٍ الْقَاضِي، ثنا يَحْيَى الْحِمَّانِيُّ، ثنا أَبُو مُعَاوِيَةَ، عَنْ هِشَامِ بْنِ عُرْوَةَ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ أَبِي أَيُّوبَ، أَوْ زَيْدِ بْنِ ثَابِتٍ، أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، «قَرَأَ فِي الْمَغْرِبِ بِالْأَعْرَافِ»
It is narrated from Abu Ayyub (may Allah be pleased with him), or, according to the narrator's doubt, from Zayd bin Thabit (may Allah be pleased with him), that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) recited Surah al-A'raf in Maghrib.
حَدَّثَنَا حَفْصُ بْنُ عُمَرَ الرَّقِّيُّ، ثنا أَبُو مَعْمَرٍ الْمُقْعَدُ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْوَارِثِ بْنِ سَعِيدٍ، عَنْ حُسَيْنٍ الْمُعَلِّمِ، عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ أَبِي كَثِيرٍ، عَنْ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ، أَنَّ عُرْوَةَ بْنَ الزُّبَيْرِ، أَخْبَرَهُ، أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ: «الْمَاءُ مِنَ الْمَاءِ»
Urwah bin al-Zubayr (may Allah have mercy on him) relates that he heard the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) say: "Water (i.e. ghusl) is due to water (i.e. ejaculation)."
