حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ سَعِيدِ بْنِ كَسَا الْوَاسِطِيُّ، ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ لُوَيْنُ، ثنا حُدَيْجُ بْنُ مُعَاوِيَةَ، عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ، عَنْ هُبَيْرَةَ بْنِ يَرِيمَ، عَنْ خَبَّابٍ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ يَوْمَ عَاشُورَاءَ: «يَا أَيُّهَا النَّاسُ مَنْ كَانَ مِنْكُمْ يُرِيدُ أَنْ يَصُومَ هَذَا الْيَوْمَ فَلْيَصُمْهُ، وَمَنْ لَمْ يَكُنْ أَكَلَ فَلْيُتِمَّ صَوْمَهُ، وَمَنْ أَكَلَ فَلْيَصُمْ بَقِيَّةَ يَوْمِهِ»
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Khabbab (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said on the day of Ashura: "O people! Whoever among you wishes to fast this day, let him fast it; whoever has not yet eaten anything, let him complete his fast; and whoever has eaten, let him fast the rest of the day."
حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدَانُ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ، ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ بَكَّارٍ الْعَيْشِيُّ، ثنا أَبُو دَاوُدَ الطَّيَالِسِيُّ، ثنا أَيُّوبُ بْنُ جَابِرٍ، عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ، عَنْ هُبَيْرَةَ، عَنْ خَبَّابٍ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ يَوْمَ عَاشُورَاءَ: «أَيُّهَا النَّاسُ مَنْ كَانَ مِنْكُمْ أَكَلَ فَلَا يَأْكُلْ بَقِيَّةَ يَوْمِهِ وَمَنْ نَوَى مِنْكُمُ الصَّوْمَ فَلْيَصُمْهُ»
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Khabbab (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said on the day of Ashura: "O people! Whoever among you has eaten, let him not eat for the rest of the day, and whoever has intended to fast, let him fast it."
