Shurahbil bin Muslim (may Allah have mercy on him) said: I saw five of the Companions of the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) who used to trim their moustaches, let their beards grow and gather them: Sayyiduna Abu Umamah al-Bahili, Sayyiduna al-Hajjaj bin Amir al-Thumali, Sayyiduna al-Miqdam bin Ma'dikarib, Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Busr al-Mazini and Sayyiduna Utbah bin Abd al-Sulami (may Allah be pleased with them).
