حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ حَنْبَلٍ، ثنا أَبِي، ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عُبَيْدٍ، عَنِ الْأَعْمَشِ، عَنْ أَبِي ظَبْيَانَ، عَنْ جَرِيرٍ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: «مَنْ لَا يَرْحَمْ لَا يُرْحَمْ»

It is narrated from Sayyiduna Jarir (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Whoever does not show mercy is not shown mercy."

Hadith 2479

حَدَّثَنَا مُعَاذُ بْنُ الْمُثَنَّى، ثنا مُسَدَّدٌ، ثنا حَفْصُ بْنُ غِيَاثٍ، عَنِ الْأَعْمَشِ، عَنْ زَيْدِ بْنِ وَهْبٍ، وَأَبِي ظَبْيَانَ أَنَّهُمَا، سَمِعَا جَرِيرَ بْنَ عَبْدِ اللهِ، يُحَدِّثُ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: «مَنْ لَا يَرْحَمِ النَّاسَ لَا يَرْحَمُهُ اللهُ»

It is narrated from Sayyiduna Jarir bin Abdullah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Whoever does not show mercy to people, Allah does not show mercy to him."

Hadith 2483

قَالَ: وَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ " إِنَّ اللهَ كَتَبَ فِي أُمِّ الْكِتَابِ قَبْلَ أَنْ يَخْلُقَ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضَ: إِنِّي أَنَا الرَّحْمَنُ الرَّحِيمُ خَلَقْتُ الرَّحِمَ، وَشَقَقْتُ لَهَا اسْمًا مِنْ أَسْمَائِي، فَمَنْ وَصَلَهَا وَصَلْتُهُ، وَمَنْ قَطَعَهَا قَطَعْتُهُ "

(Sayyiduna Jarir (may Allah be pleased with him) said:) The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Allah Almighty wrote in the Mother of the Book (Umm al-Kitab), before He created the heavens and the earth: I am al-Rahman, al-Rahim (the Most Merciful, the Especially Merciful). I created the womb (rahim, i.e. ties of kinship) and derived for it a name from among My names. So whoever joins it, I will join him, and whoever severs it, I will sever him."

Hadith 2484

حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ الْحَضْرَمِيُّ، ثنا أَبُو كُرَيْبٍ، ثنا عُثْمَانُ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ، ثنا أَبُو وَكِيعٍ، عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ، عَنْ أَبِي ظَبْيَانَ، عَنْ جَرِيرٍ، قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «مَنْ لَا يَرْحَمْ مَنْ فِي الْأَرْضِ لَا يَرْحَمُهُ مَنْ فِي السَّمَاءِ»

Sayyiduna Jarir (may Allah be pleased with him) said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Whoever does not show mercy to those on the earth, the One above the heaven does not show mercy to him."

Hadith 2485

حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ عَمْرٍو الْبَزَّارُ، ثنا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ يَحْيَى بْنِ سَعِيدٍ الْقَطَّانُ، ثنا سُوَيْدُ بْنُ عَمْرٍو الْكَلْبِيُّ، ثنا أَبُو كُدَيْنَةَ يَحْيَى بْنُ الْمُهَلَّبِ، عَنْ قَابُوسِ بْنِ أَبِي ظَبْيَانَ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ جَرِيرٍ، قَالَ: كَانَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَخْطُبُ فِي النَّاسِ يَوْمًا فَقَالَ: «قَدْ جَاءَكُمْ مِنْ خَيْرِ ذِي يُمْنٍ مَنْ عَلَى وَجْهِهِ مَسْحَةُ مَلَكٍ» يَعْنِينِي

Sayyiduna Jarir (may Allah be pleased with him) said: One day the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) was delivering a sermon to the people, and he said: "There has come to you one of the best of Dhu Yaman, on whose face is the radiance of an angel." He meant me.
