Mu'jam Kabir Tabarani 2477 — I helped the Messenger of Allah ﷺ perform

حَدَّثَنَا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ الدَّبَرِيُّ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّزَّاقِ، عَنْ يَاسِينَ، عَنْ حَمَّادِ بْنِ أَبِي سُلَيْمَانَ، عَنْ رِبْعِيِّ بْنِ حِرَاشٍ، عَنْ جَرِيرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللهِ، قَالَ: «وَضَّأْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَمَسَحَ عَلَى خُفَّيْهِ بَعْدَمَا أُنْزِلَتْ سُورَةُ الْمَائِدَةِ»
Sayyiduna Jarir bin Abdullah (may Allah be pleased with him) said: "I helped the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) perform ablution, and he (peace and blessings be upon him) wiped over his leather socks, after Surah al-Ma'idah had been revealed."
