حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ، ثنا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ حُمَيْدٍ الطَّوِيلُ، ثنا شُعْبَةُ، عَنْ سِمَاكِ بْنِ حَرْبٍ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ عَمِيرَةَ، عَنْ جَرِيرٍ، قَالَ: «أَتَيْتُ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أُبَايِعُهُ عَلَى الْإِسْلَامِ، فَقَبَضَ يَدَهُ وَالنُّصْحَ لِكُلِّ مُسْلِمٍ»
Sayyiduna Jarir (may Allah be pleased with him) said: I came to the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) to pledge allegiance to him on Islam, and he (peace and blessings be upon him) held back his hand (and said): "And on sincere goodwill towards every Muslim (pledge allegiance as well)."
حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ، ثنا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ حُمَيْدٍ الطَّوِيلُ، ثنا شُعْبَةُ عَنْ سِمَاكٍ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ عَمِيرَةَ، عَنْ جَرِيرٍ، قَالَ: قَالَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «مَنْ لَا يَرْحَمِ النَّاسَ لَا يَرْحَمُهُ اللهُ»
Sayyiduna Jarir (may Allah be pleased with him) said: The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Whoever does not show mercy to people, Allah does not show mercy to him."
