حَدَّثَنَا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ الدَّبَرِيُّ، أنا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، أنا مَعْمَرٌ، عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ، عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللهِ بْنِ جَرِيرٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: «مَا مِنْ قَوْمٍ يَكُونُ بَيْنَ أَظْهُرِهِمْ رَجُلٌ يَعْمَلُ بِالْمَعَاصِيِ هُمْ أَمْنَعُ مِنْهُ، وَأَعَزُّ لَا يُغَيِّرُونَ عَلَيْهِ إِلَّا أَصَابَهُمُ اللهُ بِعِقَابٍ»
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Jarir (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "There is no people among whom there is a man who commits acts of disobedience, while they are more powerful and mightier than him, and they do not bring about change upon him, except that Allah will afflict them with a punishment."
حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ حَنْبَلٍ، حَدَّثَنِي أَبِي، ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ ثنا شُعْبَةُ، عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ، عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللهِ بْنِ جَرِيرٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: «مَا مِنْ قَوْمٍ يُعْمَلُ بَيْنَهُمْ بِالْمَعَاصِيِ هُمْ أَعَزُّ، وَأَكْثَرُ مِمَّنْ يَعْمَلُهُ لَمْ يُغَيِّرُوا إِلَّا أَصَابَهُمُ اللهُ بِعِقَابِهِ»
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Jarir (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "There is no people among whom acts of disobedience are committed, while they are more numerous and mightier than those who commit them, and they do not change it, except that Allah will afflict them with His punishment."
حَدَّثَنَا مُعَاذُ بْنُ الْمُثَنَّى، وَأَبُو خَلِيفَةَ، قَالَا: ثنا أَبُو الْوَلِيدِ، وَحَدَّثَنَا مُعَاذُ بْنُ الْمُثَنَّى، ثنا مُسَدَّدٌ، قَالَا: ثنا أَبُو الْأَحْوَصِ، عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ، عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللهِ بْنِ جَرِيرٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ: «مَا مِنْ رَجُلٍ يَكُونُ فِي قَوْمٍ يَعْمَلُ فِيهِمْ بِالْمَعَاصِيِ يَقْدِرُونَ أَنْ يُغَيِّرُوا عَلَيْهِ وَلَا يُغَيِّرُونَ إِلَّا أَصَابَهُمُ اللهُ بِعِقَابٍ قَبْلَ أَنْ يَمُوتُوا»
Sayyiduna Jarir (may Allah be pleased with him) said: I heard the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) say: "There is no man who lives among a people and commits acts of disobedience among them, while they are able to bring about change upon him and do not do so, except that Allah will surely afflict them with a punishment before they die."
حَدَّثَنَا الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ التُّسْتَرِيُّ، ثنا يَحْيَى الْحِمَّانِيُّ، ثنا شَرِيكٌ، عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ، عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللهِ بْنِ جَرِيرٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «مَا مِنْ قَوْمٍ يَكُونُ فِيهِمْ رَجُلٌ يَعْمَلُ بِالْمَعَاصِيِ يَقْدِرُونَ أَنْ يُغَيِّرُوا عَلَيْهِ وَلَا يُغَيِّرُونَ إِلَّا عَمَّهُمُ اللهُ بِعِقَابٍ قَبْلَ أَنْ يَمُوتُوا»
Sayyiduna Jarir (may Allah be pleased with him) said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "There is no people among whom there is a man who commits acts of disobedience, while they are able to bring about change upon him and do not change it, except that Allah will afflict them with a punishment before they die."
حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ، ثنا ابْنُ الْأَصْبَهَانِيِّ، ثنا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ الْمُحَارِبِيُّ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الْمَجِيدِ بْنِ أَبِي جَعْفَرٍ الْفَرَّاءِ، عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ، عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللهِ بْنِ جَرِيرٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ: «مَا مِنْ رَجُلٍ يُجَاوِرُ قَوْمًا فَيَعْمَلُ بَيْنَ ظَهْرَانَيْهِمْ بِالْمَعَاصِيِ وَلَا يَأْخُذُونَ عَلَى يَدَيْهِ إِلَّا أَوْشَكَ أَنْ يَعُمَّهُمُ اللهُ مِنْهُ بِعِقَابٍ»
Sayyiduna Jarir (may Allah be pleased with him) said: I heard the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) say: "There is no man who lives in the neighbourhood of a people and commits acts of disobedience among them, and they do not hold his hand back, except that Allah is about to afflict them all with a punishment because of him."
حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ حَنْبَلٍ، ثنا الْأَزْرَقُ بْنُ عَلِيٍّ، ثنا حَسَّانُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ، ثنا يُوسُفُ بْنُ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ، عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللهِ بْنِ جَرِيرٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «مَا مِنْ قَوْمٍ يَكُونُ فِيهِمْ مَنْ يَعْمَلُ بِالْمَعَاصِيِ هُمْ أَكْثَرُ مِنْهُ وَأَعَزُّ فَيَدْهُنُونَ وَيَسْكُتُونَ فَلَا يُغَيِّرُونَ إِلَّا أَصَابَتْهُمْ فِيهِ عُقُوبَةٌ»
Sayyiduna Jarir (may Allah be pleased with him) said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "There is no people among whom there is someone who commits acts of disobedience, while they are more numerous and mightier than him, yet they flatter him and remain silent and do not bring about change, except that a punishment will befall them because of him."
حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ زُهَيْرٍ التُّسْتَرِيُّ، ثنا مَعْمَرُ بْنُ سَهْلٍ، ثنا عَامِرُ بْنُ مُدْرِكٍ، ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عُبَيْدِ اللهِ، عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ، عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللهِ بْنِ جَرِيرٍ، عَنْ جَرِيرٍ، قَالَ: «رَأَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَاقِفًا بِعَرَفَةَ مُتَأَبِّطًا رِدَاءَهُ رَافِعًا يَدَيْهِ لَا يُجَاوِزَانِ رَأْسَهُ، وَعَضَلَتَاهُ تُرْعَدَانِ»
Sayyiduna Jarir (may Allah be pleased with him) said: "I saw the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) standing at Arafah, with his cloak tucked under his arm, raising both his hands, which did not go higher than his head, and the muscles of both his arms (peace and blessings be upon him) were trembling."
حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ الْحَضْرَمِيُّ، ثنا أَبُو كُرَيْبٍ، ثنا يَحْيَى بْنُ آدَمَ عَنْ إِسْمَاعِيلَ، عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ، عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللهِ بْنِ جَرِيرٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «مَنْ لَا يَرْحَمُ النَّاسَ لَمْ يَرْحَمْهُ اللهُ»
Sayyiduna Jarir (may Allah be pleased with him) said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Whoever does not show mercy to people, Allah does not show mercy to him."
حَدَّثَنَا عُبَيْدُ بْنُ غَنَّامٍ، ثنا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ، ح وَحَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ عَمْرٍو الْبَزَّارُ، ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَحْيَى الْكُوفِيُّ، ثنا حُسَيْنُ بْنُ عَلِيٍّ الْجُعْفِيُّ، عَنْ زَائِدَةَ، عَنْ يَزِيدِ بْنِ أَبِي زِيَادٍ، عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللهِ بْنِ جَرِيرٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: «مَنْ لَا يَرْحَمْ لَا يُرْحَمْ»
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Jarir (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Whoever does not show mercy is not shown mercy."
حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ عَمْرٍو الْبَزَّارُ، ثنا عَبْدُ الْوَارِثِ بْنُ عَبْدِ الصَّمَدِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الْوَارِثِ، ثنا أَبِي، ثنا حَمَّادُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الْمَلِكِ بْنِ عُمَيْرٍ عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللهِ بْنِ جَرِيرٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ: «إِنَّ اللهَ لَا يَرْحَمُ مَنْ لَا يَرْحَمُ النَّاسَ»
Sayyiduna Jarir (may Allah be pleased with him) said: I heard the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) say: "Allah does not show mercy to the one who does not show mercy to people."
حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ حَنْبَلٍ، ثنا هُدْبَةُ بْنُ خَالِدٍ، ثنا حَمَّادُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الْمَلِكِ بْنِ عُمَيْرٍ، عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللهِ بْنِ جَرِيرٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ: «إِنَّ اللهَ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ لَا يَرْحَمُ مَنْ لَا يَرْحَمُ النَّاسَ»
Sayyiduna Jarir (may Allah be pleased with him) said: I heard the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) say: "Allah, the Mighty and Majestic, does not show mercy to the one who does not show mercy to people."
