حَدَّثَنَا عُبَيْدُ اللهِ بْنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ وَاقِدٍ، ثنا أَبِي، ثنا أَيُّوبُ بْنُ جَابِرٍ، عَنْ سِمَاكِ بْنِ حَرْبٍ، عَنْ جَابِرٍ، أَنَّ «جرمقانيا أَتَى النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ» وَذَكَرَ الْحَدِيثَ
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) that a man from the Jaramiqah came to the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), and the narrator mentioned the complete hadith.
حَدَّثَنَا الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ التُّسْتَرِيُّ، ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ أَبَانَ الْوَاسِطِيُّ، ثنا أَيُّوبُ بْنُ جَابِرٍ، عَنْ سِمَاكٍ، عَنْ جَابِرٍ، قَالَ: كَانَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ «يُصَلِّي الصَّلَاةَ الْمَكْتُوبَةَ صَلَاةَ وَسَطٍ لَا يُطِيلُ فِيهَا، وَلَا يَخِفُّ وَكَانَ يُؤَخِّرُ الْعَتَمَةَ»
Sayyiduna Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) used to perform the obligatory prayer in a moderate manner, neither lengthening it nor making it too short, and he used to delay Isha.
حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ خُزَيْمَةَ الْبَصْرِيُّ، ثنا أَبِي، ثنا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ إِدْرِيسَ، حَدَّثَنَا أَيُّوبُ بْنُ جَابِرٍ، عَنْ سِمَاكِ بْنِ حَرْبٍ، عَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ سَمُرَةَ، قَالَ: «رَأَيْتُ خَاتَمَ رَسُولِ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، فَإِذَا هُوَ عِنْدَ كَتِفِهِ كَبَيْضَةِ الْحَمَامَةِ»
Sayyiduna Jabir bin Samurah (may Allah be pleased with him) said: I saw the Seal of the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him); it was near his (peace and blessings be upon him) shoulder, like a pigeon's egg.
