حَدَّثَنَا أَسْلَمُ بْنُ سَهْلٍ الْوَاسِطِيُّ، ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ حَسَّانَ الْبُرْجُنَانِيُّ، ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَزِيدَ، ثنا جَعْفَرُ بْنُ الْحَارِثِ، عَنْ سِمَاكِ بْنِ حَرْبٍ، قَالَ: قَالَ جَابِرُ بْنُ سَمُرَةَ: «كَانَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقْرَأُ فِي صَلَاةِ الْفَجْرِ بِ ق»
Sayyiduna Jabir bin Samurah (may Allah be pleased with him) said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) used to recite Surah "Qaf" in the Fajr prayer.
حَدَّثَنَا أَسْلَمُ بْنُ سَهْلٍ الْوَاسِطِيُّ، ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ حَسَّانَ الْبُرْجُنَانِيُّ، ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَزِيدَ، ثنا جَعْفَرُ بْنُ الْحَارِثِ، عَنْ سِمَاكِ بْنِ حَرْبٍ، عَنْ جَابِرٍ، قَالَ: «مَا رَأَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَخْطُبُ قَطُّ إِلَّا قَائِمًا فِي يَوْمِ الْجُمُعَةِ، فَكَانَ يَخْطُبُ ثُمَّ يَقْعُدُ ثُمَّ يَقُومُ فَيَخْطُبُ، كَانَ يَخْطُبُ خُطْبَتَيْنِ بَيْنَهُمَا قَعْدَةٌ»
Sayyiduna Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) said: I never saw the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) deliver the sermon on the day of Jumu'ah except standing (never sitting). He (peace and blessings be upon him) would deliver the sermon, then sit, then stand and deliver the sermon; he (peace and blessings be upon him) used to deliver two sermons with a sitting between them.
