حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ مُوسَى بْنِ يَزِيدَ السَّامِيُّ الْبَصْرِيُّ، ثنا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ الْغُدَانِيُّ، ثنا النَّضْرُ بْنُ مَنْصُورٍ، عَنْ سَهْلٍ الْفَزَارِيِّ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ جُنْدُبٍ، قَالَ: كَانَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «إِذَا لَقِيَ أَصْحَابَهُ لَمْ يُصَافِحْهُمْ حَتَّى يُسَلِّمَ عَلَيْهِمْ»
Sahl al-Fazari narrates from his father that Sayyiduna Jundub (may Allah be pleased with him) said: When the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) met his companions, he would not shake hands with them until he had greeted them with salam.
حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ مُوسَى بْنِ يَزِيدَ السَّامِيُّ، ثنا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ عُبَيْدِ اللهِ الْغُدَانِيُّ، ثنا النَّضْرُ بْنُ مَنْصُورٍ، عَنْ سَهْلٍ الْفَزَارِيِّ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ جُنْدُبٍ، قَالَ: سَافَرْنَا مَعَ رَسُولِ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ سَفَرًا فَأَتَاهُ قَوْمٌ فَقَالُوا: يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ سَهَوْنَا عَنِ الصَّلَاةِ فَلَمْ نَصِلِّ حَتَّى طَلَعَتِ الشَّمْسُ، فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «تَوَضَّئُوا وَصَلُّوا» ثُمَّ قَالَ: «إِنَّ هَذَا لَيْسَ بِالسَّهْوِ إِنَّ هَذَا مِنَ الشَّيْطَانِ، إِذَا أَخَذَ أَحَدُكُمْ مَضْجَعَهُ مِنَ اللَّيْلِ فَلْيَقُلْ بِسْمِ اللهِ أَعُوذُ بِاللهِ مِنَ الشَّيْطَانِ الرَّجِيمِ»
Sayyiduna Jundub (may Allah be pleased with him) said: We were with the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) on a journey, and some people came to him (peace and blessings be upon him) and said: O Messenger of Allah, we became heedless of the prayer and did not pray until the sun had risen. So the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Perform ablution and pray." Then he said: "This was not heedlessness; this was from Satan. When one of you lies down on his bed at night, let him say: 'Bismillah, a'udhu billahi min al-shaytan al-rajim' (In the name of Allah, I seek refuge with Allah from Satan the accursed)."
