حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَمْرِو بْنِ خَالِدٍ الْحَرَّانِيُّ، حَدَّثَنِي أَبِي، ثنا ابْنُ لَهِيعَةَ، عَنْ أَبِي الْأَسْوَدِ، عَنْ عُرْوَةَ: فِي تَسْمِيَةِ مَنْ شَهِدَ بَدْرًا، مِنَ الْأَنْصَارِ، ثُمَّ مِنْ بَنِي طَرِيفِ بْنِ الْخَزْرَجِ، بَسْبَسٌ الْجُهَنِيُّ حَلِيفُهُمْ "
Urwah (may Allah have mercy on him) said: Among the names of those who were present at Badr, from the Ansar, then from Banu Tarif bin al-Khazraj, was Basbas al-Juhani, who was their ally.
حَدَّثَنَا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ هَارُونَ بْنِ سُلَيْمَانَ الْأَصْبَهَانِيُّ، ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ الْمُسَيَّبِيُّ، ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ فُلَيْحٍ، عَنْ مُوسَى بْنِ عُقْبَةَ، عَنِ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ: «فِي تَسْمِيَةِ مَنْ شَهِدَ بَدْرًا، مِنَ الْأَنْصَارِ، مِنْ بَنِي سَاعِدَةَ بْنِ كَعْبِ بْنِ الْخَزْرَجِ بَسْبَسٌ الْجُهَنِيُّ حَلِيفٌ لَهُمْ»
Ibn Shihab al-Zuhri (may Allah have mercy on him) said: "Among the names of those who were present at Badr, from the Ansar, from Banu Sa'idah bin Ka'b bin al-Khazraj, was Basbas al-Juhani, who was their ally."
