بصرة بن أبي بصرة الغفاري ويقال له نضرة والصواب بصرة

Mu'jam Kabir Tabarani 1232 — from Sayyiduna Basrah, who said: I

حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَزْدَادَ التُّوزِيُّ الْبَصْرِيُّ، ثنا مَحْمُودُ بْنُ غَيْلَانَ، ثنا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، ثنا ابْنُ جُرَيْجٍ، عَنْ صَفْوَانَ بْنِ سُلَيْمٍ، عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ الْمُسَيِّبِ، عَنْ بَصْرَةَ، قَالَ: تَزَوَّجْتُ امْرَأَةً بِكْرًا فِي خِدْرِهَا، فَوَجَدْتُهَا حُبْلَى، فَقَالَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «أَمَّا الْوَلَدُ فَعَبْدٌ لَكَ، فَإِذَا وَلَدَتْ فَاجْلِدُوهَا مِائَةً، وَلَهَا الْمَهْرُ بِمَا اسْتَحَلَّ مِنْ فَرْجِهَا»
Sa'id bin al-Musayyab narrates from Sayyiduna Basrah (may Allah be pleased with him), who said: I married a virgin woman who was kept in seclusion, and I found her pregnant. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "The child is your slave. When she gives birth, give her a hundred lashes. And the dowry (mahr) is her right, in return for your having made lawful for yourself (through marriage) relations with her."
