حَدَّثَنَا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ الدَّبَرِيُّ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّزَّاقِ، عَنِ الثَّوْرِيِّ، عَنْ خَالِدٍ الْحَذَّاءِ، عَنْ أَبِي قِلَابَةَ، عَنْ أَبِي الْمَلِيحِ بْنِ أُسَامَةَ، قَالَ: صَلَّيْنَا الْعِشَاءَ بِالْبَصْرَةِ وَمُطِرْنَا، ثُمَّ جِئْتُ أَسْتَفْتِحُ، فَقَالَ لِي أَبِي أُسَامَةُ: رَأَيْتُنَا مَعَ رَسُولِ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَمُطِرْنَا فَلَمْ تَبُلَّ السَّمَاءُ أَسْفَلَ نِعَالِنَا، فَنَادَى مُنَادِي رَسُولِ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «صَلُّوا فِي رِحَالِكُمْ»
Abu al-Malih bin Usamah narrates: We prayed the Isha prayer in Basrah and it rained on us. Then I came (home) and asked for the door to be opened, and my father, Sayyiduna Usamah (may Allah be pleased with him), said to me: We found ourselves with the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) and it rained on us, yet the sky (its rain) had not even wetted the soles of our sandals when the caller of the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) called out: "Pray in your lodgings."
حَدَّثَنَا الْمِقْدَامُ بْنُ دَاوُدَ، ثنا أَسَدُ بْنُ مُوسَى، ح وَثَنَا عُثْمَانُ بْنُ عُمَرَ الضَّبِّيُّ، ثنا عَمْرُو بْنُ مَرْزُوقٍ، ح وَحَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدُوسِ بْنِ كَامِلٍ، ثنا عَلِيُّ بْنُ الْجَعْدِ، قَالُوا: ثنا شُعْبَةُ، وَحَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَحْيَى الْقَزَّازُ، ثنا أَبُو عُمَرَ الْحَوْضِيُّ، ثنا هَمَّامٌ، ح وَحَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ، وَأَبُو مُسْلِمٍ الْكَشِّيُّ، قَالَا: ثنا حَجَّاجُ بْنُ الْمِنْهَالِ، ح وَحَدَّثَنَا أَسْلَمُ بْنُ سَهْلٍ الْوَاسِطِيُّ، ثنا الْقَاسِمُ بْنُ عِيسَى الطَّائِيُّ، ثنا طَلْحَةُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ، ح وَحَدَّثَنَا الْمِقْدَامُ بْنُ دَاوُدَ، ثنا أَسَدُ بْنُ مُوسَى قَالَا: ثنا حَمَّادُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ، ح وَحَدَّثَنَا مُعَاذُ بْنُ الْمُثَنَّى، ثنا مُسَدَّدٌ، ثنا يَزِيدُ بْنُ زُرَيْعٍ، عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ أَبِي عَرُوبَةَ، كُلُّهُمْ عَنْ قَتَادَةَ، عَنْ أَبِي الْمَلِيحِ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، قَالَ: كُنَّا مَعَ رَسُولِ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فِي يَوْمٍ مَطِيرٍ فَأَمَرَ مُنَادِيًا فَنَادَى: «إِنَّ الصَّلَاةَ فِي الرِّحَالِ»
Abu al-Malih narrates from his father, Sayyiduna Usamah (may Allah be pleased with him); he said: We were with the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) on a rainy day, and he (peace and blessings be upon him) ordered a caller, who called out: "The prayer is (to be offered) in your lodgings."
حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ، ثنا مُسْلِمُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ، ثنا سَعِيدُ بْنُ زَرْبِيٍّ، عَنْ أَبِي الْمَلِيحِ الْهُذَلِيِّ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، قَالَ: غَزَوْتُ مَعَ رَسُولِ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَخَرَجْنَا إِلَى حُنَيْنٍ لِسَبْعَ عَشْرَةَ خَلَتْ مِنْ رَمَضَانَ، فَوَافَقَنَا يَوْمُ جُمُعَةٍ يَوْمٌ مَطِيرٌ، فَأَمَرَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ بِلَالًا فَنَادَى فِي النَّاسِ: «إِنَّ الصَّلَاةَ فِي الرِّحَالِ»
Abu al-Malih al-Hudhali narrates from his father, Sayyiduna Usamah (may Allah be pleased with him); he said: I went out on a military expedition with the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him). We set out for Hunayn when seventeen days of Ramadan had passed, and a Friday came upon us that was a rainy day. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) ordered Sayyiduna Bilal (may Allah be pleased with him), and he called out among the people: "The prayer is (to be offered) in your lodgings."
حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدُوسِ بْنِ كَامِلٍ السَّرَّاجُ، ثنا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ عُمَرَ بْنِ أَبَانَ، ثنا أَبُو أُسَامَةَ، عَنْ عَامِرِ بْنِ عُبَيْدَةَ الْبَاهِلِيِّ، عَنْ أَبِي الْمَلِيحِ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، قَالَ: شَهِدْتُ مَعَ رَسُولِ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ حُنَيْنًا، فَأَصَابَنَا بَغْشٌ - يَعْنِي مَطَرًا - فَنَادَى مُنَادِي رَسُولِ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «مَنْ شَاءَ أَنْ يُصَلِّيَ فِي رَحْلِهِ فَلْيُصَلِّ»
Abu al-Malih narrates from his father, Sayyiduna Usamah (may Allah be pleased with him); he said: I was present with the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) at Hunayn, and a light rain fell on us. Then the caller of the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) called out: "Whoever wishes to pray in his lodging, let him pray."
حَدَّثَنَا عُبَيْدُ بْنُ غَنَّامٍ، ثنا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ، ثنا إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ، عَنْ خَالِدٍ الْحَذَّاءِ، عَنْ أَبِي قِلَابَةَ، عَنْ أَبِي الْمَلِيحِ، قَالَ: خَرَجْتُ ذَاتَ لَيْلَةٍ مَطِيرَةٍ إِلَى الْمَسْجِدِ، فَلَمَّا رَجَعْتُ اسْتَفْتَحْتُ، فَقَالَ لِي أَبِي: لَقَدْ رَأَيْتُنَا مَعَ رَسُولِ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَوْمَ الْحُدَيْبِيَةِ فَأَصَابَنَا سَمَاءٌ لَمْ تَبُلَّ أَسَافِلَ نِعَالِنَا، فَإِذَا مُنَادِي رَسُولِ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «أَنْ صَلُّوا فِي رِحَالِكُمْ»
Abu al-Malih narrates: I went out to the mosque on a rainy night, and when I returned I asked for the door to be opened. My father, Sayyiduna Usamah (may Allah be pleased with him), said to me: We found ourselves with the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) on the day of Hudaybiyah, and rain fell on us that did not even wet the soles of our sandals, when the caller of the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) called out: "Pray in your lodgings."
حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدَانُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ الْمَرْوَزِيُّ، ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ غَالِبٍ الْأَنْطَاكِيُّ، حَدَّثَنَا الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ السَّكَنِ، ثنا عِمْرَانُ الْقَطَّانُ، عَنْ قَتَادَةَ، وَزِيَادِ بْنِ أَبِي الْمَلِيحِ، عَنْ أَبِي الْمَلِيحِ، عَنْ أُسَامَةَ بْنِ عُمَيْرٍ، قَالَ: شَهِدْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فِي يَوْمٍ مَطِيرٍ، يَوْمَ جُمُعَةٍ أَمَرَ مُنَادِيًا فَنَادَى: «أَنْ صَلُّوا فِي رِحَالِكُمْ»
Sayyiduna Usamah bin Umayr (may Allah be pleased with him) said: I was present with the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) on a rainy Friday. He (peace and blessings be upon him) ordered a caller, who called out: "Pray in your lodgings."
