حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَمْرِو بْنِ خَالِدٍ الْحَرَّانِيُّ، حَدَّثَنِي أَبِي، ثنا ابْنُ لَهِيعَةَ، عَنْ أَبِي الْأَسْوَدِ، عَنْ عُرْوَةَ بْنِ الزُّبَيْرِ، " بِنَسَبهِ: أُسَامَةُ بْنُ زَيْدِ بْنِ حَارِثَةَ بْنِ شَرَاحِيلَ بْنِ كَعْبِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الْعُزَّى بْنِ يَزِيدَ بْنِ امْرِئِ الْقَيْسِ الْكَلْبِيُّ، وَأَنْعَمَ اللهُ عَلَيْهِ، وَرَسُولُهُ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ "
Urwah bin al-Zubayr stated his lineage thus: Usamah bin Zayd bin Harithah bin Sharahil bin Ka'b bin Abd al-Uzza bin Yazid bin Imru' al-Qays al-Kalbi, upon whom Allah and His Messenger (peace and blessings be upon him) bestowed favour.
حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ الْحَضْرَمِيُّ، ثنا سَعِيدُ بْنُ عَمْرٍو، ثنا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ شُعَيْبِ بْنِ الْحَبْحَابِ، قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ أَشْيَاخَنَا، يَقُولُونَ: " كَانَ نَقْشُ خَاتَمِ أُسَامَةَ بْنِ زَيْدٍ: حِبُّ رَسُولِ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ "
The narrator said: I heard our elders say: The ring of Usamah bin Zayd (may Allah be pleased with him) was engraved with "Hibb Rasul Allah (the beloved of the Messenger of Allah) (peace and blessings be upon him)".
حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ الْحَضْرَمِيُّ، ثنا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ الْحَكَمِ بْنِ أَبِي زِيَادٍ الْقَطَوَانِيُّ، ثنا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ الرَّازِيُّ، عَنْ أَبِي سِنَانٍ، عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ، قَالَ: «رَأَيْتُ أُنَاسًا مِنْ أَصْحَابِ رَسُولِ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَأْتَزِرُونَ عَلَى أَنْصَافِ سُوقِهِمْ، فَذَكَرَ ابْنَ عُمَرَ، وَزَيْدَ بْنَ أَرْقَمَ، وَأُسَامَةَ بْنَ زَيْدٍ، وَالْبَرَاءَ بْنَ عَازِبٍ رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُمْ»
Abu Ishaq said: I saw some of the Companions of the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) tying their lower garments up to the middle of their shins, and he mentioned Ibn Umar, Zayd bin Arqam, Usamah bin Zayd and al-Bara' bin Azib (may Allah be pleased with them).
