باب من روى عن ابن مسعود أنه لم يكن مع النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم ليلة الجن

Mu'jam Kabir Tabarani 9990 — the Prophet ﷺ said: In sacrifice, a cow

حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ عَمْرٍو الْبَزَّارُ، وَمُحَمَّدُ بْنُ مُوسَى الْأُبُلِّيُّ، قَالَا: ثنا عُمَرُ بْنُ يَحْيَى الْأُبُلِّيُّ، ثنا حَفْصُ بْنُ جُمَيْعٍ، عَنْ مُغِيرَةَ، عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ، عَنْ عَلْقَمَةَ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: «الْبَقَرَةُ عَنْ سَبْعَةٍ، وَالْجَزُورُ عَنْ سَبْعَةٍ فِي الْأَضَاحِيِّ»
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Mas'ud (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "In sacrifice, a cow suffices for seven people, and a camel also suffices for seven people."
