Mu'jam Kabir Tabarani 9955 — When the Prophet ﷺ ascended the pulpit

حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ الْحَضْرَمِيُّ، ثنا جَنْدَلُ بْنُ وَالِقٍ، ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْفَضْلِ، عَنْ مَنْصُورٍ، عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ، عَنْ عَلْقَمَةَ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ قَالَ: «كَانُ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ إِذَا صَعِدَ الْمِنْبَرَ اسْتَقْبَلْنَاهُ»

Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Mas'ud (may Allah be pleased with him) says: "When the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) ascended the pulpit, we would turn to face him (peace and blessings be upon him)."
