Mu'jam Kabir Tabarani 9946 — Whoever turns away from wiping

حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ الْحَضْرَمِيُّ، ثنا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ عُمَرَ بْنِ أَبَانَ، ثنا يُوسُفُ بْنُ عَطِيَّةَ، عَنْ أَبِي حَمْزَةَ، عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ، عَنْ عَلْقَمَةَ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ قَالَ: «مَنْ رَغِبَ عَنِ الْمَسْحِ فَقَدْ رَغِبَ عَنْ سُنَّةِ مُحَمَّدٍ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ»
Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Mas'ud (may Allah be pleased with him) says: "Whoever turns away from wiping (over the leather socks) has turned away from the Sunnah of Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him)."
