حَدَّثَنَا الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ التُّسْتَرِيُّ، ثنا عُثْمَانُ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ، ثنا جَرِيرٌ، عَنْ مَنْصُورٍ، عَنْ أَبِي وَائِلٍ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ قَالَ: لَقَدْ عَلِمْتُ النَّظَائِرَ الَّتِي كَانَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقْرِنُ بَيْنَهُنَّ سُورَتَيْنِ فِي رَكْعَةٍ
Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Mas'ud (may Allah be pleased with him) said: I know the surahs of similar length and theme which the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) used to combine, two by two, in one rak'ah.
