Mu'jam Kabir Tabarani 9803 — the Messenger of Allah ﷺ prayed Zuhr

حَدَّثَنَا جَعْفَرُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ الْفِرْيَابِيُّ، ثنا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ عُمَرَ بْنِ شَقِيقٍ، ثنا يَزِيدُ بْنُ زُرَيْعٍ، عَنْ شُعْبَةَ، عَنْ حَمَّادٍ، عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ، عَنْ عَلْقَمَةَ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ صَلَّى الظُّهْرَ خَمْسًا، فَقِيلَ: يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ، زِيدَ فِي الصَّلَاةِ؟ قَالَ: «وَمَا ذَاكَ؟» قَالُوا: صَلَّيْتَ خَمْسًا، فَسَجَدَ سَجْدَتَيْنِ
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Mas'ud (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) prayed Zuhr with five rak'ahs. It was said: O Messenger of Allah, has something been added to the prayer? He said: "What is that?" They said: You (peace and blessings be upon him) prayed five rak'ahs. So he (peace and blessings be upon him) performed two prostrations.
