ومن مسند عبد الله بن مسعود رضي الله عنه
From the Musnad of Abdullah bin Masud (may Allah be pleased with him)
Mu'jam Kabir Tabarani 9758 — We complained to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ
حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ الْحَضْرَمِيُّ، ثنا سَعِيدُ بْنُ يَحْيَى بْنِ سَعِيدٍ الْأُمَوِيُّ، ثنا أَبِي، عَنِ الْأَعْمَشِ، عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ، عَنْ حَارِثَةَ بْنِ مَضْرَبَةَ، وَعَنْ غَيْرِهِ، عَنْ خَبَّابِ بْنِ الْأَرَتِّ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ مَسْعُودٍ قَالَ: «شَكَوْنَا إِلَى رَسُولِ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ الصَّلَاةَ بِالْهَاجِرَةِ، فَلَمْ يُشْكِنَا»
Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Mas'ud (may Allah be pleased with him) said: We complained to the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) about praying in the intense midday heat, but he (peace and blessings be upon him) did not remove our complaint.
