Mu'jam Kabir Tabarani 9746 — the Prophet ﷺ said: I was a witness over

حَدَّثَنَا الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ التُّسْتَرِيُّ، ثنا عُثْمَانُ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ، ثنا أَبُو أُسَامَةَ، ثنا مِسْعَرٌ، حَدَّثَنِي مَعْنٌ، عَنْ جَعْفَرِ بْنِ عَمْرِو بْنِ حُرَيْثٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنِ ابْنِ مَسْعُودٍ قَالَ: قَالَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «كُنْتُ عَلَيْهِمْ شَهِيدًا مَا دُمْتُ فِيهِمْ»
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Mas'ud (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "I was a witness over them as long as I remained among them."
