حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ حَمَّادِ بْنِ زُغْبَةَ، ثنا سَعِيدُ بْنُ عُفَيْرٍ، ثنا يَحْيَى بْنُ أَيُّوبَ، عَنِ ابْنِ الْهَادِ، عَنْ عَبَادِلَ، عَنْ جَدَّتِهِ، امْرَأَةِ عُبَيْدِ اللهِ بْنِ أَبِي رَافِعٍ، عَنْ أَبِي رَافِعٍ، قَالَ: بَيْنَمَا أَنَا مَعَ رَسُولِ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فِي بَقِيعِ الْغَرْقَدِ أَمْشِي خَلْفَهُ، إِذْ قَالَ: «لَا هُدِيتَ، لَا هُدِيتَ» قَالَ أَبُو رَافِعٍ: فَالْتَفَتُّ فَلَمْ أَرَ أَحَدًا، فَقُلْتُ: يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ، مَا شَأْنِي؟ قَالَ: «لَسْتُ إِيَّاكَ أُرِيدُ، وَلَكِنْ أُرِيدُ صَاحِبَ الْقَبْرِ، يُسْأَلُ عَنِّي فَيَزْعُمُ أَنَّهُ لَا يَعْرِفُنِي» فَإِذَا قَبْرٌ مَرْشُوشٌ عَلَيْهِ حِينَ دُفِنَ صَاحِبُهُ
Sayyiduna Abu Rafi' (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: I was with the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) in Baqi' al-Gharqad, walking behind him, when he (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "May you not be guided, may you not be guided." Abu Rafi' (may Allah be pleased with him) said: I turned around but saw no one, so I said: O Messenger of Allah! What is the matter with me? He (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "I do not mean you; rather I mean the occupant of the grave, who is asked about me and claims that he does not know me." And it turned out to be a grave on which water had been sprinkled when its occupant was buried.
