Mu'jam Kabir Tabarani 9691 — Sayyiduna Ibn Mas'ud said

Muhammad bin Abd al-Rahman bin Abi Layla narrated that Sayyiduna Ibn Mas'ud (may Allah be pleased with him) said: "Quasi-deliberate killing (shibh al-'amd) is with a stone, a stick, a whip, a shove, a sudden blow, and anything with which you deliberately struck him; in it the blood money is made heavier. And accidental killing is that one throws at something and misses with it."
