Mu'jam Kabir Tabarani 9515 — he said: Whoever misses the second rak'ah

It is narrated from Sayyiduna Ibn Mas'ud (may Allah be pleased with him) that he said: "Whoever misses the second rak'ah should pray four." Ma'mar said: Qatadah said: He should pray four. Then it was said to Qatadah: Sayyiduna Ibn Mas'ud (may Allah be pleased with him) came (once for the Friday prayer) while the people were sitting in the last part of the prayer, and he said to his companions: "Sit down; you have caught it, if Allah wills." Qatadah said: He only meant by it: "You have attained the reward."
