Mu'jam Kabir Tabarani 9514 — he said: For whoever catches the sermon

حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ النَّضْرِ الْأَزْدِيُّ، ثنا مُعَاوِيَةُ بْنُ عَمْرٍو، ثنا زُهَيْرٌ، ثنا أَبُو إِسْحَاقَ، عَنْ أَبِي الْأَحْوَصِ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ، قَالَ: «مَنْ أَدْرَكَ الْخُطْبَةَ فَالْجُمُعَةُ رَكْعَتَانِ، وَمَنْ لَمْ يُدْرِكْهَا فَلْيُصَلِّ أَرْبَعًا، وَمَنْ لَمْ يُدْرِكِ الرَّكْعَةَ فَلَا يَعْتَمِدُ بِالسَّجْدَةِ حَتَّى يُدْرِكَ الرَّكْعَةَ»
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abdullah (may Allah be pleased with him) that he said: "For whoever catches the sermon, the Friday prayer is two rak'ahs; whoever does not catch it should pray four; and whoever does not catch the bowing (ruku') should not rely on (merely) the prostration until he catches the bowing."
