Mu'jam Kabir Tabarani 9512 — he said: Whoever catches one rak'ah

حَدَّثَنَا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّزَّاقِ، عَنِ الثَّوْرِيِّ، عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ، عَنْ أَبِي الْأَحْوَصِ، عَنِ ابْنِ مَسْعُودٍ، قَالَ: «مَنْ أَدْرَكَ الرَّكْعَةَ فَقَدْ أَدْرَكَ الْجُمُعَةَ، وَمَنْ لَمْ يُدْرِكِ الرَّكْعَةَ فَلْيُصَلِّ أَرْبَعًا»
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Ibn Mas'ud (may Allah be pleased with him) that he said: "Whoever catches one rak'ah (with the imam) has caught the Friday prayer, and whoever does not catch even one rak'ah should pray four."
