Mu'jam Kabir Tabarani 9511 — he said: Whoever catches one rak'ah

حَدَّثَنَا الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ الْقَتَّاتُ الْكُوفِيُّ، ثنا مِنْجَابُ بْنُ الْحَارِثِ، ثنا عَلِيُّ بْنُ مُسْهِرٍ، عَنِ الْأَعْمَشِ، عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ، عَنْ أَبِي الْأَحْوَصِ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ، قَالَ: «مَنْ أَدْرَكَ مِنَ الْجُمُعَةِ رَكْعَةً فَلَيُضِفْ إِلَيْهَا أُخْرَى، وَمَنْ فَاتَتْهُ الرَّكْعَتَانِ فَلْيُصَلِّ أَرْبَعًا»
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abdullah (may Allah be pleased with him) that he said: "Whoever catches one rak'ah of the Friday prayer should add another one to it, and whoever misses both rak'ahs should pray four."
