Mu'jam Kabir Tabarani 9414 — No daytime prayer equals the night prayer

حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ الْحَضْرَمِيُّ، ثنا بِشْرُ بْنُ الْوَلِيدِ الْكِنْدِيُّ، ثنا شَرِيكٌ، عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ، عَنِ الْأَسْوَدِ، وَمُرَّةَ، وَمَسْرُوقٍ قَالُوا: قَالَ عَبْدُ اللهِ: «لَيْسَ شَيْءٌ يَعْدِلُ صَلَاةَ اللَّيْلِ مِنَ صَلَاةِ النَّهَارِ إِلَّا أَرْبَعًا قَبْلَ الظُّهْرِ، وَفَضْلُهُنَّ عَلَى صَلَاةِ النَّهَارِ كَفَضْلِ صَلَاةِ الْجَمَاعَةِ عَلَى صَلَاةِ الْوَاحِدِ»
Al-Aswad, Murrah and Masruq narrate that Sayyiduna Abdullah (may Allah be pleased with him) said: "No daytime prayer equals the night prayer except the four rak'ahs before Zuhr, and their excellence over the other daytime prayers is like the excellence of prayer in congregation over the prayer of one praying alone."
