Mu'jam Kabir Tabarani 9411 — the voluntary prayer of Sayyiduna

حَدَّثَنَا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ الدَّبَرِيُّ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّزَّاقِ، عَنِ الثَّوْرِيِّ، عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ مُرَّةَ، عَنْ أَبِي عُبَيْدَةَ، قَالَ: «كَانَ تَطَوُّعُ عَبْدِ اللهِ الَّذِي لَا يَنْقُصُ مِنْهُ أَرْبَعًا قَبْلَ الظُّهْرِ، وَرَكْعَتَيْنِ بَعْدَهَا، وَرَكْعَتَيْنِ بَعْدَ الْمَغْرِبِ، وَرَكْعَتَيْنِ بَعْدَ الْعِشَاءِ، وَرَكْعَتَيْنِ قَبْلَ صَلَاةِ الْغَدَاةِ»
Abu Ubaydah narrates that the voluntary prayer of Sayyiduna Abdullah (may Allah be pleased with him), from which he never reduced anything, was as follows: four rak'ahs before Zuhr, two rak'ahs after it, two rak'ahs after Maghrib, two rak'ahs after Isha, and two rak'ahs before the Fajr prayer.
