حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ، ثنا حَجَّاجُ بْنُ الْمِنْهَالِ، ثنا حَمَّادٌ، عَنْ أَبِي حَمْزَةَ، عَنِ ابْنِ مَسْعُودٍ، أَنَّهُ: «كَانَ يَقْنُتُ فِي الْوِتْرِ قَبْلَ الرُّكُوعِ، وَلَا يَقْنُتُ فِي صَلَاةِ الْفَجْرِ»
Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Mas'ud (may Allah be pleased with him) used to recite the qunut in witr before bowing, and he did not recite the qunut in the Fajr prayer.
