Mu'jam Kabir Tabarani 9213 — For the traveller the period of wiping

حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ، ثنا حَجَّاجُ بْنُ الْمِنْهَالِ، ثنا حَمَّادُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ، عَنْ حَجَّاجٍ، عَنِ الْحَكَمِ بْنِ عُتَيْبَةَ، عَنْ عَلِيٍّ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ مَسْعُودٍ، قَالَ: «لِلْمُسَافِرِ ثَلَاثَةُ أَيَّامٍ وَلَيَالِيهِنَّ، وَلِلْمُقِيمِ يَوْمٌ وَلَيْلَةٌ»
Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Mas'ud (may Allah be pleased with him) said: "For the traveller the period of wiping is three days and their nights, and for the resident, one day and one night."
