حَدَّثَنَا فُضَيْلُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ الْمَلَطِيُّ، ثنا أَبُو نُعَيْمٍ، ثنا أَبُو الْعُمَيْسِ، حَدَّثَنِي عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ الْأَسْوَدِ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، قَالَ: «كَانَ عَبْدُ اللهِ، لَا يَقْنُتُ فِي صَلَاةِ الْغَدَاةِ، وَإِذَا قَنَتَ فِي الْوِتْرِ قَنَتَ قَبْلَ الرَّكْعَةِ»
Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Mas'ud (may Allah be pleased with him) did not recite qunut in the Fajr prayer, and when he recited qunut in the witr, he recited it before the ruku' (bowing).
