حَدَّثَنَا الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ التُّسْتَرِيُّ، ثنا يَحْيَى الْحِمَّانِيُّ، ثنا قَيْسٌ، عَنْ جَابِرٍ، عَنِ الشَّعْبِيِّ، عَنْ مَسْرُوقٍ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ، قَالَ: «لَا أَقِيسُ شَيْئًا بِشَيْءٍ لَا تَزَلَّ قَدِمٌ بَعْدَ ثُبُوتِهَا»
Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Mas'ud (may Allah be pleased with him) said: "I do not draw an analogy between one thing and another, lest a foot should slip after being firmly placed."
