Mu'jam Kabir Tabarani 8538 — There is no state of a servant more

حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ، ثنا أَبُو نُعَيْمٍ، ثنا سُفْيَانُ، عَنْ عَاصِمِ بْنِ أَبِي النَّجُودِ، عَنْ وَائِلِ بْنِ رَبِيعَةَ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ، قَالَ: «مَا حَالٌ أَحَبُّ إِلَى اللهِ أَنْ يَجِدَ الْعَبْدَ فِيهِ مِنْ أَنْ يَجِدَهُ عَافِرًا وَجْهَهُ»
Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Mas'ud (may Allah be pleased with him) said: "There is no state of a servant more beloved to Allah than that He finds him with his face covered in dust (in prostration)."
