Mu'jam Kabir Tabarani 8356 — the Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to say

حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ حَنْبَلٍ، وَإِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ نَائِلَةَ الْأَصْبَهَانِيُّ، قَالَا: ثنا شَبَابٌ الْعُصْفُرِيُّ، ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عُمَرَ، ثنا هَارُونُ الْأَهْوَازِيُّ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ سِيرِينَ، عَنْ عُثْمَانَ بْنِ أَبِي الْعَاصِ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ كَانَ يَقُولُ: «اللهُمَّ إِنِّي أَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنَ الْفَقْرِ، وَعَذَابِ الْقَبْرِ، وَفِتْنَةِ الْمَحْيَا وَفِتْنَةِ الْمَمَاتِ»
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Uthman bin Abi al-As (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) used to say: "Allahumma inni a'udhu bika minal-faqri wa 'adhabil-qabri wa fitnatil-mahya wa fitnatil-mamat (O Allah, I seek refuge in You from poverty, the punishment of the grave, the trial of life and the trial of death)."
