Umar bin Malik al-Ansari (may Allah be pleased with him), who lived in Egypt
Mu'jam Kabir Tabarani 8276 — the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: I command

حَدَّثَنَا بَكْرُ بْنُ سَهْلٍ الدِّمْيَاطِيُّ، ثنا شُعَيْبُ بْنُ يَحْيَى التُّجِيبِيُّ، عَنِ ابْنِ لَهِيعَةَ، عَنْ يَزِيدَ بْنِ أَبِي حَبِيبٍ، عَنْ لَهِيعَةَ بْنِ عُقْبَةَ، أَنَّهُ: سَمِعَ عُمَرَ بْنَ مَالِكٍ الْأَنْصَارِيَّ، قَالَ: إِنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: " آمُرُكُمْ بِثَلَاثٍ وَأَنْهَاكُمْ عَنْ ثَلَاثٍ: آمُرُكُمْ أَنْ لَا تُشْرِكُوا بِاللهِ شَيْئًا، وَأَنْ تَعْتَصِمُوا بِالطَّاعَةِ جَمِيعًا حَتَّى يَأْتِيَكُمْ أَمْرُ اللهِ وَأَنْتُمْ عَلَى ذَلِكَ، وَأَنْ تُنَاصِحُوا وُلَاةَ الْأَمْرِ مِنَ الَّذِينَ يَأْمُرُونَكُمْ بِأَمْرِ اللهِ، وَأَنْهَى عَنْ قِيلَ وَقَالَ، وَكَثْرَةِ السُّؤَالِ، وَإِضَاعَةِ الْمَالِ "
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Umar bin Malik al-Ansari (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "I command you with three things and forbid you from three things: I command you not to associate anything with Allah, to hold fast together to obedience until the command of Allah comes to you while you are in that state, and to give sincere counsel to those in authority who command you with the command of Allah. And I forbid 'it is said' and 'he said' (idle talk), excessive questioning, and wasting wealth.
