Mu'jam Kabir Tabarani 8263 — I asked the Messenger of Allah ﷺ: May

حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَلِيِّ بْنِ شُعَيْبٍ السِّمْسَارُ، ثنا خَالِدُ بْنُ خِدَاشٍ، ثنا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ وَهْبٍ، أَخْبَرَنِي عَمْرُو بْنُ الْحَارِثِ، عَنْ عَبْدِ رَبِّهِ بْنِ سَعِيدٍ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ كَعْبٍ الْحِمْيَرِيِّ، عَنْ عُمَرَ بْنِ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ، قَالَ: سَأَلْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَيُقَبِّلُ الصَّائِمُ؟ فَقَالَ: «سَلْ هَذِهِ» لِأُمِّ سَلَمَةَ وَهِي جَالِسَةٌ فَقَالَتْ: إِنَّهُ لَيَفْعَلُ، قَالَ: قُلْتُ: يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ، أَنْتَ قَدْ غَفَرَ اللهُ لَكَ مَا تَقَدَّمَ مِنْ ذَنْبِكَ وَمَا تَأَخَّرَ، قَالَ: «أَمَا وَاللهِ إِنِّي لَأَخْشَاكُمْ لِلَّهِ وَأَتْقَاكُمْ»
Sayyiduna Umar bin Abi Salamah (may Allah be pleased with him) said: I asked the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him): May a fasting person kiss? He (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Ask her," and Sayyidah Umm Salamah (may Allah be pleased with her) was sitting there, so she said: He ((peace and blessings be upon him)) does so. I said: O Messenger of Allah, Allah Almighty has forgiven you all your past and future sins. He (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Indeed, by Allah! I am the one among you who fears Allah the most and is the most God-conscious of you all."
