Mu'jam Kabir Tabarani 8146 — I asked my father about qunut in the Fajr

Abu Malik al-Ashja'i narrates: I asked my father about qunut in the Fajr prayer, and he said: "My son, I prayed behind the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him), Abu Bakr and Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both), but I did not see any of them perform qunut. My son, it is an innovation (bid'ah)." He said this three times.
