حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ الْحُصْرِ الْمَرْوَزِيُّ، ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ اللَّيْثِ الْمَرْوَزِيُّ، ثنا يَحْيَى بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ الْكَاسَعُونِيُّ، ثنا عَبْدُ الْكَبِيرِ بْنُ دِينَارٍ، عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ الْهَمْدَانِيِّ، عَنْ فِطْرٍ، عَنْ أَبِي أُمَامَةَ قَالَ: بَيْنَا النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ جَالِسٌ، إِذْ جَاءَتِ امْرَأَةٌ مَعَهَا وَلَدُهَا تَحْمِلُ بَعْضَهُمْ، وَيَمْشِي بَعْضُهُمْ، فَسَأَلَتْ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، فَلَمْ تَسْأَلْهُ يَوْمَئِذٍ شَيْئًا إِلَّا أَعْطَاهَا لَهَا، فَطَلَعَتْ تَمْشِي، فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «حَامِلَاتٌ وَالِدَاتٌ رَحِيمَاتٌ بِأَوْلَادِهِنَّ، لَوْلَا مَا يَأْتِينَ إِلَى أَزْوَاجِهِنَّ دَخَلَ مُصَلِّيَاتُهُنَّ الْجَنَّةَ»
Sayyiduna Abu Umamah (may Allah be pleased with him) says: The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) was sitting when a woman came with her children, carrying some of them while others walked. The woman asked the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) (for help), and that day she did not ask him for anything but that he (peace and blessings be upon him) gave it to her. Then she went out walking, and the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Women who carry, give birth and are merciful to their children: were it not for (some of) their shortcomings towards their husbands, those among them who pray would enter Paradise."
