Mu'jam Kabir Tabarani 7871 — the Prophet ﷺ said: Whoever fasts one day

حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ الْحُسَيْنِ الْحَذَّاءُ، ثنا إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ عُبَيْدِ بْنِ أَبِي كَرِيمَةَ، ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ، عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ الرَّحِيمِ، عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ الْمَلِكِ، عَنِ الْقَاسِمِ، عَنْ أَبِي أُمَامَةَ، عَنْ نَبِيِّ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، قَالَ: «مَنْ صَامَ يَوْمًا فِي سَبِيلِ اللهِ بَاعَدَهُ اللهُ مِنْ جَهَنَّمَ مِائَةَ عَامٍ رَكْضَ الْفَارِسِ الْجَوَادِ الْمُضَمَّرِ»
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Umamah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Whoever fasts one day in the path of Allah, Allah will distance him from Hell by the distance of a hundred years' gallop of a swift, trained horseman."
