It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Umamah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Whoever finds it hard to strive in worship at night, is too miserly to spend his wealth, and is too cowardly to fight the enemy, let him say 'Subhan Allahi wa bihamdihi' (Glory be to Allah and praise be to Him) abundantly, for these two (phrases) are more beloved to Allah than a mountain of gold and silver spent in the path of Allah."
