حَدَّثَنَا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ عَلِيِّ بْنِ خَلَفٍ الدِّمَشْقِيُّ، ثنا سُلَيْمَانُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ، ثنا إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ عَيَّاشٍ، عَنْ مُطَّرِحِ بْنِ يَزِيدَ، عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللهِ بْنِ زَحْرٍ، عَنْ عَلِيِّ بْنِ يَزِيدَ، عَنِ الْقَاسِمِ، عَنْ أَبِي أُمَامَةَ، عَنْ رَسُولِ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: " ثَلَاثَةٌ لَا يَسْتَخِفُّ بِحَقِّهِمْ إِلَّا مُنَافِقٌ: ذُو الشَّيْبَةِ فِي الْإِسْلَامِ، وَذُو الْعِلْمِ، وَإِمَامٌ مُقْسِطٌ "
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Umamah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "There are three whose right none but a hypocrite takes lightly: one who has grown grey in Islam, the possessor of knowledge, and a just ruler."
