Ubayd bin Zahr from Ali bin Yazid — Mutarrih bin Yazid Abu al-Muhallab from Ubaydullah bin Zahr
Mu'jam Kabir Tabarani 7775 — the Prophet ﷺ said: Whoever fasts one day

حَدَّثَنَا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ الدَّبَرِيُّ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّزَّاقِ، عَنْ حَسَنِ بْنِ مِهْرَانَ، عَنْ مُطَّرِحٍ، عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللهِ بْنِ زَحْرٍ، عَنْ عَلِيِّ بْنِ يَزِيدَ، عَنِ الْقَاسِمِ، عَنْ أَبِي أُمَامَةَ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: «مَنْ صَامَ يَوْمًا فِي سَبِيلِ اللهِ بَعَّدَ اللهُ وَجْهَهُ عَنِ النَّارِ مَسِيرَةَ مِائَةِ عَامٍ، رَكْضَ الْفَرَسِ الْجَوَادِ الْمُضْمَرِ»
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Umamah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Whoever fasts one day in the path of Allah, Allah keeps his face away from the Fire a distance of one hundred years, at the gallop of a swift, trained horse."
