حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْعَبَّاسِ الْمُؤَدِّبُ الْبَغْدَادِيُّ، ثنا دَاوُدُ بْنُ مِهْرَانَ الدَّبَّاغُ، ثنا الْمُشْمَعَلُّ بْنُ مِلْحَانَ، عَنْ مُطَّرِحِ بْنِ يَزِيدَ، عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللهِ بْنِ زَحْرٍ، عَنْ عَلِيِّ بْنِ يَزِيدَ، عَنِ الْقَاسِمِ، عَنْ أَبِي أُمَامَةَ رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُ، قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «بَعَثَنِي اللهُ هُدًى وَرَحْمَةً لِلْعَالَمِينَ، وَأَمَرَنِي رَبِّي أَنْ أَدُقَّ الْمَزَامِيرَ، وَالْمَعَازِفَ، وَالْأَوْثَانَ الَّتِي كَانَتْ تُعْبَدُ مِنْ دُونِ اللهِ، وَأَقْسَمَ رَبِّي بِعِزَّتِهِ لَا يَشْرَبُ الْخَمْرَ عَبْدٌ مِنْ عَبِيدِي إِلَّا سَقَيْتُهُ إِيَّاهُ مِنَ الْحَمِيمِ، فَإِمَّا أَغْفِرُ لَهُ، وَإِمَّا أُعَذِّبُهُ، وَأَقْسَمَ رَبِّي بِعِزَّتِهِ لَا يَسْقِي عَبْدٌ مِنْ عَبِيدِي صَبِيًّا لَا يَعْقِلُهُ إِلَّا سَقَيْتُهُ مِثْلَ مَا سَقَاهُ مِنَ الْحَمِيمِ، إِمَّا أَنْ أَغْفِرَ لَهُ، وَإِمَّا أَنْ أُعَذِّبَهُ، وَأَقْسَمَ رَبِّي بِعِزَّتِهِ لَا يَتْرُكُهُ عَبْدٌ مِنْ عَبِيدِي مَخَافَتِي إِلَّا سَقَيْتُهُ إِيَّاهُ فِي حَضِيرَةِ الْقُدُسِ»
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Umamah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Allah has sent me as a guidance and a mercy to all the worlds, and my Lord has commanded me to break the pipes, the musical instruments, and the idols that were worshipped besides Allah. And my Lord has sworn by His might: Whichever of My servants drinks wine, I will make him drink boiling water, then I will either forgive him or punish him. And my Lord has sworn by His might: Whichever of My servants gives wine to drink to a child who has no understanding, I will make him drink the same amount of boiling water, whether I forgive him or punish him. And my Lord has sworn by His might: Whichever of My servants abandons it out of fear of Me, I will give him to drink in Hazirat al-Quds (the Sacred Enclosure)."
